Our Story
THIS IS OUR STORY
Welcome to the beach! 🏖
Settled in 1793 on the north shore of Lake Erie by Frederick and Levinah Mabee as Charlotteville, the abundance of wild turkeys that nested here made way for the change in name to how we know it as today: Turkey Point.
With two miles of sandy beach, boating, fishing, hiking, restaurants, and more for tourists and locals alike to enjoy, there is never a dull moment here at the beach. Just don't forget sunscreen!
**This website is run by Turkey Point locals to showcase the beautiful scenery and small businesses we have to offer!**
